Jake Gregus

As the Assistant Golf Professional, Jake's goal as an instructor is to help each student reach the goal they are pursuing, helping to build skills that lasts a lifetime.

Hello, my name is Jake Gregus. I started playing golf at the age of 12. When I was in high school I started working at Pleasant Valley Country Club while playing on the golf team for Sam Barlow High School. In 2011 I attended Walla Walla Community College and completed my degree in Professional Golf Management in 2013. During school I completed my first internship working at a course in Oregon; The Resort at the Mountain. My second internship I stayed in Walla Walla and was offered a position at the Walla Walla Country Club. After the summer of 2013 I moved back to my home town in East Portland. My next opportunity was at Glendoveer Golf Course, which eventually led me to my current position as the Assistant Golf Professional at Tri-Mountain Golf Course.

My goal as an instructor is to help each student reach the goal they are pursuing. Every individual has a different idea of what they want out of golf lessons, and my passion is to help each person get to a level at which they are comfortably happy and enjoy the game of golf as much as I do. Whether this is your first lesson or your hundredth, I want to help build a skill that lasts a lifetime.
