Working with mother nature is a consistent challenge. Superintendents want to provide optimal playing conditions, during prolonged periods of drought mixed in with high mowing schedules puts stress on the turf. Aeration is the process by which holes are put into the greens to allow for air to be able to get into the soil beneath the green. This is needed during this time as the roots struggle to breathe underneath the surface.
Tri Mountain will aerify the front 9 on Monday April 18th
Tri Mountain will aerify the back 9 on Tuesday April 19th
Tri Mountain will attend to the putting surfaces on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday to have conditions ready to go for the weekend. Thank you to all players and guests, we appreciate your patience during this week ahead - long term this is the best for the golf course playing conditions.
